Amazing Hawaiian bbq in south Santa Cruz. Doesn’t look like much from outside but the food is delish and abundant. The chicken katzu is way to go. 13.99 for a big serving with two scoops of rice and pasta salad. I tired the combo with luau pork and cabbage and chicken katzu for $15.99. Didn’t like the pork mix as it wasn’t that flavorful. Must try if you live in Santa Cruz.

L&L has fair safety precautions, a menu that isn't bad, and the food was.. I'd say 7/10. That said, it's a solid choice if you want something reliably satisfying, and the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. If they get the funds for a refreshed look and some better quality ingredients in the future, I could see them being a good 8/10 overall, but as they stand I would say they are simply slightly above average. Note: dine-in was not available as of January 2022 due to covid precautions, and I wholly support the decision.

The amount of salmon I got in my dish was wonderful great amount for the price always delicious here! Combo plate is also very good and super popular! Also the sea food combo is also excellent as well! Definitely try it out if you haven't yet they got lots of options even hamburgers!

I absolutely love L&L and I’ve been coming here for about 10 years. Their Mac salad and bbq mix plates are delicious. I recently went and their plates were PACKEDDD! There was so much food in every plate, 2-3 people could easily share the meat. You’ll def get your money’s worth here! It’s also in a great location, next to a park, delicious cafe, convenience store, and the beach.

Amazing food. Serving size is huge, they don’t shy with the portions. The meats are amazing and love the Mac salad. I’ve doordashed and picked up in person and the quality stays the same and very worth it for the price. Just finished a meal from this place and wanted to give my appreciation.
